About the Root to Table Dinner

From long alfresco tables to picnic tables, enjoy an evening of Agri-Cultural culinary excellence presented by Taste of Blue Ridge’s Root to Table Culinary Series. Once again the series and its guests will gather under the Grand Manor House’s walnut trees at Bluemont Station Brewery & Winery.

Taste of Blue Ridge will salute the summer bounty with the most memorable summer picnic in Loudoun County. Our top chefs and local farmers are tasked with crafting a menu our foodie audience will not soon forget. Guests will also be able to speak with our Chef Ambassadors, view demonstrations, and more!

About the Menu

The Great Chef’s Table will feature everything prepared on an Outdoor Grills. Stop by the Beer & Sangria Garden and then stroll by our chef’s food stations to sample Hors D’oeuvres fresh off the grill! In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn how various kinds of woods and delectable sauces kick main entrees up a notch.

Chef Erik Foxx-Nettnin’s special  demonstration – “Blue Fin Tuna – Broken, Poked, Grilled and Seared”

With the bounty from our local farms, we will feature great summer dishes with a challenge to the chefs to win the Best of the Best Summer Dish! This competition will be voted on by you, our guests. Then we end the meal with desserts right off of the grill and local ice cream.

Many of you may remember our Pickled and Roasted event in October 2020. Bluemont Station (formerly Celebrations Farm) opened in 2022. Their Agri-tourism and Cultural Center sits on 50 scenic acres, surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains in Bluemont, Virginia.

Guests will receive a drink ticket and have the opportunity to taste the newly launched beers and wines from Bluemont Station as they mingle and dine throughout the evening.
