Chef David describes his culinary skills as personal, contemporary, and well crafted.
A West Virginia native, David Propst has acquired extensive culinary experience working in several quality private clubs, hotels, restaurants, and schools such as: The City Club of Washington, The Greenbrier, Army-Navy Country Club, and Trump National Golf Club
David’s philosophy incorporates seasonality, local products, freshness, simplicity, and allows the ingredients to speak for themselves. David’s attention to detail is on par with some of the best chef’s he’s had the opportunity to work beside.
He is extremely energetic and enthusiastic about focusing on the cuisine and service of his personal chef business: At Your Service, PCS, L.L.C., providing clients and their guests with a gastronomic experience.
David holds an A.O.S. degree from The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York.
He is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association, American Culinary Federation, and World Association of Chef’s Societies. He has competed and earned several medals from the American Culinary Federation. David has had the privilege and honor of cooking for professional athletes, celebrities, dignitaries, U.S. President’s Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
David enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters, as well as collecting cookbooks, golfing, swimming, hiking and camping, mountain biking, and barbecuing for friends and family.
