Root to Table Culinary Series Kicks Off 2023 in March
A Salute to Women in Culinary & Agriculture
March 26th – Bluemont Station Brewery & Winery
The kickoff to Root to Table’s 2023 season begins as we salute all the talented women in the culinary and agriculture industries. This event will salute 8 female chefs from around the Blue Ridge’s culinary /agricultural community and who are committed to local sourcing.
This event will take place throughout the Manor House of Bluemont Station. Guests will arrive and be greeted by Founder Nancy Craun before breaking into smaller groups to explore the Manor house. Each room will have a Food Station where your group will be able to talk with the Food Makers, Farmers, Wine Makers and more while tasting their delicious creations!
Join us as we highlight these outstanding women during Women’s History Month!

Testimonial from a Root to Table Guest –
“My wife and I have been “foodies” since we first started dating, so when we decided to up and move from Baltimore to West Virginia, one of the main questions became “What good food is available in our new area?” It didn’t take long to figure out that we moved to a gold mine of farm to table cuisine. Our first Taste Of Blue Ridge event was Grilling and Chilling in July of 2021. From that moment on we were hooked. We have attended every Root To Table event since, and we plan to continue this trend as long as we can. What Nancy and Taste Of Blue Ridge have been able to put together is utterly astounding. From each selected chef to each dish they prepare, it seems carefully curated to perfection. My wife and I always have a blast being able to talk to the chefs and meet new friends along the way. The sense of community these events brings to the forefront is what continues to bring us back time and time again. We look forward to attending the next event in October, and we suggest you do the same. You will not be disappointed.” – CW
