Making the Blue Ridge Mountains a Culinary Destination

Taste of Blue Ridge is an unincorporated association of like minded culinary and agricultural businesses. For the chefs, it brings a professional regional organization where they can network and upgrade their brand through our educational and marketing opportunities. The goal is to create a culinary destination brand for the Blue Ridge Mountain region of Virginia and West Virginia.

The Mission –

To build a regional culinary community around the ever-growing local source food movement. Our mission connects the farmers who work the land, the chefs and food artisans who prepare the bounty, and those who are ardent about sustainable food, fine dining, and culinary travel.

Our Vision –

Connect consumers to the people who handle their food from root to table. By doing this, they have a deeper understanding, appreciation, and connection to the food they consume.

Core Values –

We believe in the agricultural heritage of the area and the locally sourced movement. We understand that the area’s history, cultures, and customs complete the locally sourced culinary experience. Taste of Blue Ridge and it’s community are committed to developing a community that educates “foodies” about memorable Valley culinary experience while also providing B2B opportunities.
