2023 Shows a Year of Growth for Root to Table

2023 was a year of many firsts for the Root To Table Culinary Series. Guests were able to enjoy five unique events and feast on food from 17 new chefs and 10 returning Taste of Blue Ridge Chefs. The first new event for the Series was argueably it’s most succesful. March is Women’s History month and Root to Table hosted a Salute to Women in Food & Wine at beautiful Bluemont Station Brewery & Winery. This event sold out 30 days in advance and allowed guests to meet several super talented female chefs, beverage makers, farmers, and food artisans.

The largest first was the large scale fundraiser at The Great Chefs Table held at Audley Farm in Berryville, VA. Over 100 guests joined us to raise funds for the Root to Table Community Fund. Money from this fund will be used to fight food challenges in the region and get young people involved in their communities. We’re very gratfeul for all our participants and guests as we were able to raise over $10,000!

If you’re curious about upcoming food events here in the Blue Ridge, we’ve got a full plate of selections to choose from this year!
