Taste of Blue Ridge is a marketing culinary community representing people passionate about locally sourced food. We cover the  Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and West Virginia.

Most importantly, Taste’s mission is to build a culinary community of cuisine experts and food enthusiasts. Ultimately, we want to connect consumers to owners, chefs, farmers, and food retailers who live and breathe locally sourced food. In recognition of this, Virginia Tourism has awarded multiple grants for our Root to Table Culinary Series. This series allows us to host events that celebrate the collaboration between our various partners and their connection to the consumer. The program highlights unique food happenings that will turn dining into storytelling. These experiences emphasize and highlight our passionate partners as well as weekend itinerary based programs.

Whether you have lived in the valley all your life and remember the apple and peach orchards or a new comer to the Shenandoah Valley, you will be surprised by the extraordinary chefs that are taking our locally sourced food and creating cuisine to rival anywhere in the world. To match the cuisine, the vineyards, breweries, and distilleries are growing grapes, hops, and barley creating award-winning wines, craft beer, and spirits here in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley.
