Taste of Blue Ridge is a marketing culinary community representing people passionate about locally sourced food. We cover the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and West Virginia.
Our mission and awards
Most importantly, Taste’s mission is to connect consumers to owners, chefs, farmers, and food retailers who live and breathe locally sourced food. The goal is to educate the visitor on how to take farm market and backyard garden food products and turn them into award winning dishes and cocktails. Virginia Tourism Grants has awarded for Root to Table Culinary Series Taste of Blue Ridge will be hosting a series of culinary events that celebrate the collaboration between our partners. The program highlights unique food happenings that will turn dining into story telling. Experiences with an emphasis on our passionate partners and weekend escape itinerary based programs.

Top Chefs and Locally Sourced Farms Whether you have lived in the valley all your life and remember the apple and peach orchards or a new comer to the Shenandoah Valley, you will be surprised by the competent chefs that are taking our locally sourced food and creating cuisine to rival anywhere in the world.
